so began my “become a runner” trek.
it wasn’t a comfortable experience — it’s cold outside, the pup pulls in all directions, the wind gave me a headache, and i’m a smoker — but i ran 1/4 of a mile, which may not sound like a lot but it is a lot more than i thought i was capable of.

i love starting projects. the mundane acts of planning and organizing have an especially therapeutic effect on my restless nerves. i become hypnotized by the motions of handwriting, by the way letters perpetually interconnect to create a flawless plane of lines, shapes, angles; meaningless unless given significance.
